Hey, don't worry moms and cook-lovers out there, I often find myself in a difficult time to cook without making any short-cut and yeayyy that's nothing wrong with that!!!! Here I wanna share with you all my experiment on making Brioche, to be honest until now I'm still trying my best to pronounce this word properly but anyway I reckon I have succeeded on my first trial. I have never try one before, I saw a recipe and I thought, for a change I should try to make one as a trial, I asked my second family what kind of bread is this and is it supposed to be this texture? incredibly they said "yes it is how it supposed to be, it's a traditional bread of French. Usually we use brioche to make 'French Toast'" they explained.
Have no mixer-machine? don't freak out! I always knead my dough by my hand, so far the results always pretty impressive. There's a thing we have to remember before jump into kneading process, make sure your yeast is still active, this very important otherwise the dough won't rises. I have learned how to make sure that my dough is elastic enough for proving process by kneading the dough for 'sourdough bread' which I'd like to share with you all some other time. It will take about 10 minutes kneading by hand.

Never thought it's going to be this easy, I promise you!. you may also fill the dough with chocolate chips just for a surprise for kids. To get a shiny golden brown brioche, don't forget to brush the top of he dough with "Egg Wash' mixture before putting it in pre-heated oven.
Ingredients:
1. 3 large eggs room temperature
2. 2 cups all-purpose flour
3. ¼ cup granulated sugar
4. 1 tsp salt
5. 1 stick butter soften
6. 11/2 tsp instant yeast
For the Egg Wash
1. 1 egg
2. ½ tbsp water
3. Pinch of salt
Method
1. Lightly beat eggs in a bowl
2. In a large bowl mix flour, salt, sugar, instant yeast
3. Pour egg mixture on to dry ingredients and knead it around 4 minutes
4. Add butter and continue kneading for another 7 minutes till it forms an elastic dough,
5. Put the dough in a greased bowl and let it rest for about an hour or until the dough has doubled in size
6. After dough has doubled put dough on lightly floured surface, dived in to 6 same portions of dough
7. Knock down the dough and pull each side to the middle, turn it over and use the side of our palm to form the dough in to a ball and place in a greased glass bowl or any baking tin you prefer, do the same to the rest of dough and place them side by side
8. Let it rest again for another 1 hour till it doubled in size, meanwhile mix the Egg Wash ingredients and pre heat oven at 180 degrees.
9. Brush the top with Egg Wash and bake for 25-30 minutes till golden brown.
