No Need To Knead Bread

The easiest bread recipe is here!

Assalamu'alaikum, it's been a very long time since the last recipe. I hope you all doing great my friends! despite all the hard-time we had and we still have to go through. I want to share this recipe which I found as one of the easiest bread recipe I have ever tried . It's not just easy but it doesn't take so much time in the process. No knead and just one time proofing. I was a bit surprised to the result on my first baking of this bread. it was look exactly like the sourdough bread which until now I still find my rhythm to get a good result.

With just 4 ingredients you will have a warm homemade bread everyday. I tried 2 variations with this bread: Plain and with linseed/flaxseed.

with linseed/flexseed

plain

Basically we just have to add some linseed in while the rest of he ingredients are the same amount as the plain one. The batter/dough will look like jelly; wobbly and sloppy but don't worry because thetas how we want it to be. I always let the dough proofed fr 1,5-2 hours, it will almost tripled the size.

Adding 50 grams of linseed along with the rest of the ingredients would be great for healthier bread. Other than quick this bread also save us from the stress of shaping the bread before baking. No, you don't have to worry about the shape when you're making this incredible bread. No scoring process needed either, on the above image I shared, believe me! it just happened like that without me scored the dough before baking. isn't it amazing? and yes you will get holey bread with this simple recipe.

Nothing to worry about if you don't have cast iron pot, trust me! I have never tried using that. I used tin-cake instead.

Ok without further ado, let's jump in to the recipe.

Ingredients:

1.   3 cups bread flour or plain flour

2.   2 tsp salt

3.   2 tsp instant yeast

4.   375 ml warm water

Method:

1.   In a large bowl mix all the ingredients. It might be wet and wobbly like jelly but that’s what we want.

2.   Cover with cling wrap and let it rest for about 2 hours.

3.   Pre-heat oven at 230 Celsius. Meanwhile, layer a round tin-cake or Dutch oven (cast iron pot) with baking paper and boil some water.

4.   Scrape the dough onto floured surface, use a scraper or rubber spatula (anything handy for you) to fold sides in to shape the dough into round disc.

5.   Flip the dough upside down and use the scraper place it onto baking paper upside down so you will have smooth side up.

6.   Put in the oven and pour how water on a baking tray to act as a steamer for the bread.

7.   Bake for about 40 minutes or until golden and crispy. Let it rest for about half an hour before slicing it.
